The technical is the real gold in the assessment process. It links together everything we have found in both joint and strength assessments and allows us to see how those findings manifest themselves in a sport specific task. i.e. Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift

This is a two stage process;

Stage 1 - Take video of the primary disciplines at 4 angles, front, back, left, right. These lifts are performed at 70% of 1RM to

Stage 2 - Create a picture slide show (kinogram) of each discipline to allow for a detailed analysis of functional movement proficiency

Stage 3 - Begin the process of collating all 3 assessments into a working model for not just rehab of the current injury but also providing the insight to limit further injury.

I am always amazed by the power of the kinogram method in seeing everything that happens during the lifts. There are always elements that you don’t see in real time that are picked up in the post analysis. The assessment really does come to life with this specific aspect and the threads that we can follow are incredibly powerful for developing the rehab plan.
