With the analysis complete we get to the delivery of the bespoke program itself. This is broken down into the following;

Pre-Training This is a combination of soft tissue, mobilisation and pre-activation based on you assessment findings and also tailored to your current program. I call this the DMA method.

Desensitise

To use soft tissue release techniques to “re-wire” the brain to allow a greater level of strentch tolerance and subsequently much less pain

Mobilise

Now we have greater strength tolerance we need to promote better joint movement and congruency using through range mobilisations

Activate

Finally now we have less pain and excellent range restored we need to “fire up” the muscles at this new range of motion and improv their function before commencing with the workout itself.

The Workouts This is the aligned approach where I will take your current program as given to you by your coach (if you have one) and work into that specific strength exercises that will aid the rehabilitation process without taking away from the main purpose and programmed work. These will fit seamlessly into your workout and training week and only add to the whole, not take anything away. I want you to have one seamless program not two clunky programs.

Post Training

These exercises are the answer to the long term rehabilitation. Developmental exercises to improve muscular capacity of the atrophied and/or inhibited muscle groups.

Work Capacity

The improvement of the muscles ability to produce mechanical force, some of the earlier exercises improve coordination and neuromuscular control. These exercises target the muscle in isolation an improve it’s endurance (capilirisation) and fatigue resistance. This is a large reason for the increased tightness felt in these muscles.

Strength

The exercises prescribed also improve the size of the muscle (hypertrophy) which improves its ability to produce force and provide the support you need when lifting heavy

Support

I provide a 30 day support package post session. This is to allow for any questions that will naturally come up once you start the rehab process to be answered and for you to get total clarity on the prescribed.

As with the Podium Program we use the same philosophy

“The best program is the one you can execute the best”.

By having 30 days of support you can have all questions answered as you work through the exercises and gain a great understanding of all of the components.

Along with the support I will also make micro adjustments to the prescribed work based on feedback and needs making sure that you have the best overall program for you to be pain free and performing.
